Steven M. Rubin dedicates his career to promoting the rights of individuals in the workplace. He has been involved in bringing a leading workplace wage and hour case before the California Supreme Court. He handles arbitrations under a variety of providers such as AAA, ADR, and Jams; and has wide experience with mediation and creative approaches to alternate dispute resolution. Above all, he has shown a special aptitude for creatively and effectively bringing employers to the table to engage in the early negotiation of disputes. His firm's practice includes representation of corporate executives and managers from all industries, highly compensated professionals, as well as victims of sexual harassment, disability discrimination, workplace violence, and other wrongs and discrimination in the workplace. The firm has successfully resolved all matter of sexual misconduct cases, violence and harassment cases, often through confidential pre-trial negotiations. It represents employees in many different industries in wage and hour cases, most notably misclassification cases involving large groups of employees claiming unpaid overtime, breaks and lunch hours.
