Whistleblower Claims

We handle whistleblower claims when employees uncover and report (or refuse to participate in) illegal corporate activity, or when employers take retaliatory actions against California whistleblower employees, including those protected under state and federal whistleblower laws or the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Sexual Harassment

As experienced employee rights attorneys, we know how profoundly sexual harassment can affect all aspects of a person's life: not just in the workplace, but also in relationships with family, friends, and enjoyment of personal time as well. If you have been sexually harassed, your boss or supervisor has demanded sexual favors for employment, or you have been affected by workplace violence, contact The Rubin Law Corporation to create a plan for legal action.

Wage and Hour Claims

If you want to complain about harassment, job misclassification, a violation of California's overtime pay laws or other matters, we can help. Our lawyers can help you strategize and select the most effective approach to achieve your goals. You can then approach HR, secure in your knowledge of how California and federal law applies to your wage and hour, exempt vs. non-exempt status, or other issues. Eligible employees are entitled to take up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave after the birth of a child, adoption of a child or placement of a foster child in their home. This parental leave is designed to allow employees to bond with their newborn, foster child or adopted child. Workers can also take 12 weeks of medical leave per year to take care of their own serious health condition or that of a seriously ill parent, child or spouse
